Midwest Orthopedic Specialty Hospital Honored 4 Years in a Row for Outstanding Patient Experience

Midwest Orthopedic Specialty Hospital (MOSH) has been named a 2016 Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award winner for the fourth consecutive year.

The award is the result of achieving excellent patient satisfaction survey scores between May 2015 and April 2016. During that time period, MOSH maintained an aggregate overall score of at least 95 percent for all patient surveys received in each of the quarters.

“We are honored to receive the Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award,” says Dr. Dan Guehlstorf, chief of staff, Midwest Orthopedic Specialty Hospital. “Patients are at the center of everything we do. Winning the award four years in a row is evidence that the best practices of our physicians and staff are recognized and appreciated by our patients.”

The Guardian of Excellence Award recognizes top-performing healthcare organizations that have consistently achieved the 95th percentile or above for patient experience, engagement or clinical quality performance. MOSH was honored in the category of Patient Experience in Inpatient Care.

Recognized as a leader in performance for nearly 30 years, Press Ganey is the nation’s leading health care performance improvement company and partners with more than 11,000 health care facilities, including more than half of all US hospitals, to reduce suffering and improve the patient experience.
